BACKSPLASH replaced for only $10!
We are currently living in the home my husband grew up in and have been remodeling it to fit our family. One of these projects has been the kitchen. The kitchen did not have a dishwasher, so we knocked out one section of the counter and cabinets and added a dishwasher. The counters were replaced with granite and a new sink and faucet were installed. But what to do with the wheat backsplash….someone said to paint it. But then we would see the wheat through the paint. Someone said knock it out, but the counters were already placed. How about putting something over it?! Great idea! How about spending only $10? Even a better idea! And I could do it myself? I’m all for that!
So I went into the Lowe’s flooring aisle….flooring for backsplash you say? Why not! I found beautiful gray planking, light and durable, and some adhesive. Measured and cut them and in one afternoon our backsplash was covered and updated for only $10!
